In Luke 7 we read of a Roman centurion in Capernaum whom the Jewish elders warmly commended to Jesus. They told him, "he loves our nation and has built our synagogue." Jesus commended the man's faith and healed his servant.
This incident provides the inspiration for a UFM ministry. Operation Centurion brings together teams of men with practical skills to undertake specific projects in countries where UFM missionaries are working.
Team have gone to Brazil, Ivory Coast and Mongolia. The next OC team will be going to Manaus in Brazil in February 2010.
