Michael Prest
DirectorMichael began his working life in pharmacy management with Boots and then, after time at Oak Hill College, London, he served as one of the ministers at Beeston Free Church, Nottingham.
Michael is married to Rachel and they are very grateful for their four children, Bethia, Jemima, Benjamin and Nathanael. They joined UFM in 2012 and served as missionaries in South East Asia where the focus of their work was on training and equipping local believers to reach out to those from the majority religion.
Michael serves as an elder at Emmanuel Marlborough and is a member of the FIEC Pastors’ Network.
William Brown
Head of PersonnelWilliam is Deputy Director and is responsible for the pastoral care and personnel processes of the mission.
William and his wife Rosalind, joined UFM in 1993. They served in Ivory Coast, West Africa as missionaries until they were evacuated in 2004. Following that, William was our Churches in Mission Coordinator in Ireland until he took up his current position as Deputy Director in September 2012. William and Rosalind have three daughters and two sons.
Jonathan Redhead
Head of Finance & OperationsJonathan grew up in Cambridgeshire and attended a local Baptist church with his family from a young age. He became a Christian in his early twenties whilst at university. Jonathan is married to Helen who is a teacher and they have a son, Joshua. They are members of Swindon Evangelical Church. Jonathan and Helen moved to Swindon in 2008 when Jonathan started working for UFM as PA to the Directors. In 2014, Jonathan started his current role as UFM’s Finance Director. In his free time he enjoys sports (playing a bit, but watching mainly!) and outings with Josh to the park and cinema.
Ruairidh MacLean
Area Director based in ScotlandRuairidh is originally from the Isle of Lewis, in the Western Isles of Scotland and currently lives in East Kilbride.
After studying architecture and working in that sphere for a few years, Ruairidh trained for ministry in the Free Church of Scotland. He has previously served as the minister of a remote island congregation and worked for another mission organisation in Scotland. He has also been involved in Bible translation work and cross-cultural outreach, and serves as an elder in his local congregation. He is married to Peigi and they have four children.

David Morrow
Area Director based in Northern IrelandDavid has a long association with UFM with two couples from his church serving as missionaries and through attending a UFM prayer group. David’s work background is a technical one, installing and providing remote support for a software product. He is an elder at Dundonald Baptist Church where he grew up and met his wife, Karen, they have two grown up children, Chris and Jennifer. Following his involvement in an Operation Centurion team to Brazil in 2012, David believed that God unsettled him with the thought that there was more that he could be doing for His kingdom. He subsequently joined the staff of UFM in April 2014.
Mary Hodson
Head of Women's Pastoral MinistryMary was brought up in a Christian family and became a Christian at the age of 8. She trained as an Occupational Therapist and through this tested out mission opportunities in South Africa and China. However, God gave her the conviction that her role was in the UK, though with a heart for people from other cultures and those in need. In 2003, God brought Mary to Swindon and opened the door to start a church outreach to the homeless. Through this, God led Mary into pastoral ministry within the church, which became a part-time role as a pastoral worker for women. Mary has extensive experience of one to one work with ladies and has been developing her experience in biblical counselling. She has a keen heart for mission.

UFM Worldwide (USA)Laura runs the UFM Worldwide USA office in Birmingham, Alabama. After short term teams to Mexico and Papua New Guinea, and work with internationals in the US, she worked for four years as English teacher and service manager of an English language school in Turkey. She now additionally serves as Director of ESL and Friendship Partner’s in Briarwood PCA’s International Outreach program. Her elder daughter and family live in Birmingham, AL and her younger daughter and husband live in Portland, Oregon.
