Jonathan and Dawn Clark and their children, Greece

Dawn is leading the end of year IFES InterAction conference from 22-26 June. IFES Greece is launching a new summer training initiative, 'The Dive', from 16-23 July at a beach campsite, which will focus on getting Greek and other European students deeper into Scripture.

Please pray for the camps and other Christian activities that I will be helping with in these months and for potentially moving house, but most of all please pray for rest and refreshment over the summer as I will be back in Wales for some time. Please pray for those whose lives have been devastated by the recent flooding in Mozambique, and the churches bringing relief whilst proclaiming the good news of the gospel. Pray for wisdom as we seek the Lord's will about how to develop our work in the future. Praise the Lord for bringing amazing young families to serve with us; we have three new babies recently arrived and two more are due soon.

I’m thankful for the five 1:1 studies I am doing with young Christians who ask a lot of questions and are hungry to know more. Pray for the youth group; this is a busy season for them with lots of exams. Pray that they prioritise Jesus above everything else. Please pray for continued provision from the Lord.

We’re planning a few days away with Anca’s extended family at the end of June; please pray it goes well. Chloe will attend her first Christian camp in June; pray it’s a blessed experience. In July, we hope to host a Vacation Bible School at our church and we will have the Kairos mission camp; please pray it will be a blessing and inspire mission.

Today, God willing, we hope to move to our new home in Udon Thani, 360 miles north-east of Bangkok. Please pray for stamina and joy in these early days of setting up home and finding a church family. We are excited about new ministry opportunities, but will need much wisdom as we start to understand both the needs of the region and the people already serving there.

15-19 June is mission week for the college, when students will help out with a chosen church to do evangelistic work for the whole week. We are in need of more financial supporters for our ministry; pray that our time in the UK in July will be very profitable regarding this need. Pray that the Lord will go before us.

Lamin and Jayne Dumbuya and their son, Sierra Leone

Jayne and Theo will be in Ireland and the UK from mid-June to mid-August. Please pray they have a meaningful time with family, our home church and supporters, and that all the health and dental appointments would be helpful. Pray for Lamin as he continues with the different ministries in Sierra Leone, and for ongoing work on our building project.

Phil and Elspeth (Associates), UK, East Africa

In June, we hope to be in Burundi working with three indigenous mission sending groups, and then in Kenya taking Ethiopian mission leaders to see a Mission School, to help them with training sessions in Ethiopia. During July we’ll visit supporters and be at the UFM conference. We are combining dental treatment with a holiday in Slovakia in August, and then returning to Ethiopia.

Pray for our annual mid-year conference from 12-15 June. Pray for students to come, and that the gospel talks from Genesis would be enlightening. Pray for the ongoing ministry at our university campus. We are home in N. Ireland, from Asia, until September. We will be sharing at meetings, and have Leah's wedding in June and our first grandchild to enjoy. Pray for 'N' who became a Christian and was baptised just before we left, that she will grow in faith, knowledge and courage as we continue Zoom Bible studies with her.

Please pray as I prepare a week's training on godly life/integrity for the Port Moresby church leaders in August. I'll have to write it from scratch, so need God's wisdom. Please pray for our last training weekend for our four trainees (5-7 June), and their enrolment in the second year diploma in Christian Counselling training. Pray also for training for the counsellors (12-14 June) with Angie from the UK, that it would be extremely beneficial.  Pray that the villagers we live amongst will respond to the Holy Spirit and read their Bulgarian John's Gospels.
