Pray for follow up from our mini conference in mid-October – in particular that we’ll find the students that are hungry to meet with staff for 1-2-1 mentoring and training, and that we’ll work out how to encourage believers into active mission during these strange times. Please also pray that we’ll find long-term Greek staff to grow the student movement nationally. Finally, our eldest, Joel has to make university decisions and we’d all appreciate wisdom in that!

29th December

UFM Worldwide (USA) Staff Team Laura Danner

Pray for our accountant, Dale, as he mourns the loss of his wife, Linda. Praise for our ability to work from home and for consistent donations for the missionaries. Pray for wisdom and insight as we approach a difficult national election and the repercussions afterwards. Laura has been confined to her home since March because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to shield her mother.

30th December

Thailand Johnny & Ann McClean

11th-13th January, God willing, Johnny will be traveling to Uttaradhit province in northern Thailand with Pastor Wiraya after a group of pastors requested Langham Preaching Training. This is an exciting development in the work, which has been predominantly Bangkok based since its start in 2015. Pray for safe travel by train, for good fellowship with this group of pastors and for effective training for the good of the Lord’s people and the glory of God.

31st December

Italy Andrea & Emanuela Artioli

Pray for faithfulness and fruitfulness in their ministries at Sola Grazia Church and Coram Deo Ministry.

31st December

Portugal Leonardo & Ana Moraes

On September 20th I was installed as the new pastor of the Baptist Church in Sete Rios. Ana has been accompanying me in visitation work and, while I dedicate myself to herding, she takes care of the house and our children. Lavínia managed to enroll in the Portuguese education system, but has not yet been placed in any school. Pedro Guilherme will return to the UK as soon as the pandemic restrictions become more flexible.
