Supporting church workers & ministries in Portuguese-speaking countries
Although the church in Brazil has grown significantly, mainland Portugal and other Portuguese speaking countries are spiritually impoverished. Our aim is to support frontline workers in these countries.
We make regular visits to North Portugal, holding days of fellowship for Brazilian, Paraguayan, and national workers. We visit their ministries and send support where needed. We also support Brazilian workers in Lisbon and Beja.

Leonardo (Lisbon) and Elias (Beja) travel once a year with Andrew to Mozambique to train pastors and leaders on behalf of Pastors Traning International. This work is now expanding as nationals are being trained to do the work. We praise God that the church is growing in Mozambique both in depth and numerically.

We are based in South Wales where Andrew is a Pastor and Jenny serves in a minsitry to women and children, not only in Llantrisant but in a wider context. Our burden is to serve God faithfully where we are and to encourage mission particularly to Portugal. Our work also involves scheduling deputation vists in the UK for missionaries to Portugal.
Our aim is to be links to facilitate mission in Portugal. Tabor Baptist, Llantrisant is the sending church for Leonardo and Ana Moraes and the desire of our church is to see them fully supported. Please pray with us that God will raise up further workers. Pray for a young Brazilian couple who plan to leave Brazil to serve in Portugal in 2023.
We served in Brazil for 12 years, first in a small interior river town and then in the city of Manaus in the Amazon. We then returned to Wales largely for educational and family reasons. We have four daughters, Hannah, Maria, Sarah and Amy. Hannah is married, Maria is engaged and Sarah now works in Edinburgh. Amy is finishing a college course this year in digital art. We are busy with church life and trips abroad.
