Serving at an international church in Frankfurt, Germany

Alex is from Northern Ireland and Miri is from Germany. In God’s wonderful plan, we met while serving in South Africa. For three years (from 2022) we will be living in Germany and serving alongside an international church plant called River of Life Church. Our vision as a church is to see a God-glorifying, gospel-preaching, English-speaking church established in the centre of Frankfurt.

Why an English-speaking church?

English provides many opportunities to connect with the 180 countries and 200 cultural backgrounds represented in Germany’s most international city.

Why a gospel-preaching church?

The gospel is the only message with the power that can reach the 260 religious communities present in this diverse city (Rom 1:16).

Why a God-glorifying church?

God’s glory is ultimate and shapes everything we do (1 Cor 10:31).

Our goal is to faithfully serve the River of Life Church and help them reach the English-speaking community in Frankfurt. As well as serving the church, we will also gain experience in international ministry as preparation for future cross-cultural ministry.
