‘The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.’ (Matt 9:37)
There are very few volunteers who teach the Bible to children and young people in Kenya. However, since Christ Church Loresho was planted in late 2020, the Lord has entrusted us with lots of young people to love and to serve! The work of teaching the Bible is enormous. Every Sunday, God has continued to add more young people to our congregation. There is a real need for more gospel workers in God’s harvest field.
I am really excited about the story of Jesus: his life, death, and resurrection. I am excited that I can help young people to know this Jesus!
I became a Christian at a young age. I am most thankful to iServe Africa and the Cornhill Training Course for helping me to know and love Jesus more. I am sad that many churches in Kenya teach false doctrines about the gospel and Christian living – the prosperity gospel teaching, so prevalent in Kenya, is a product of this. I believe that Christ Church Loresho will be the right place for me to proclaim Christ who is sufficient for all of life.
I do hope to train young people to read the Bible for themselves and apply it to their daily living. I also hope that they will then be able to teach others. I will have one-to-one Bible studies with young people, and I’ll occasionally preach on Sundays. I will also be managing the church’s online platforms, like Facebook and YouTube.

We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. (Ps 78:4)
