Preach the Word, Grow the Church: investing in Word-based training

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring morning around tea and coffee, to explore an important topic for the local church from a missional perspective. The seminars are in partnership with Langham Preaching. A light lunch is included.

Our contributors will share from their extensive experience. Johnny McClean, originally from Carrickfergus, is currently serving in Bangkok as the East Asia Coordinator for Langham Preaching. He has almost 30 years experience in ministry. Mark Armstrong is from Bangor and has served as a local church pastor and is currently the local representative for Langham Partnership in Ireland.

The premise we want to explore is that the growth of the church is bound up in word-based ministry. Yet all of our denominations are finding that less people are stepping forward to train for ministry. If this is the case, how do we develop those within our own churches to meet the need?

The format is informal, with opportunity for discussion and learning from each other’s experiences. Our desire is to serve and bless you and provide a morning that is encouraging and inspiring. It would be wonderful if you can spare the time to join us out of your busy schedule.
