The Cutting Edge of the Great Commission: Reaching diaspora communities in the UK – starting in the barber’s chair.

You don’t need a plane ticket to reach the nations. Sometimes all it takes is a conversation in a barbershop. Kurdish communities are growing across the UK. Jeremy Fowler spent 11 years living among Kurds in Iraqi Kurdistan, speaking their language, understanding their culture, and building trust through everyday connections.

Jeremy uses ‘Kurds in the Bible’ as a powerful bridge to connect with this people group, the principles he teaches go far beyond one ethnicity – whether Punjabi, Polish, or Persian. It’s a key point that Kurds see themselves as descendants of the ancient Medes, who were present at Pentecost and a significant nation in the unfolding drama of the Old Testament.

In this webinar, Jeremy will share practical strategies for connecting with diaspora populations without needing deep theological or cultural expertise. Using his experience with Kurdish barbers, he will show how to build relationships, bridge cultural gaps, and open doors for meaningful conversations.

Come and join the webinar to a) glean practical tips and hints for reaching the Kurdish population in the UK and b) learn principles that can be applied to other communities.
