Student Ministry in South Africa

Students in South Africa come from all over the world, bringing different cultures and backgrounds, which makes campuses a place of both diversity and spiritual need.

Many students face different challenges and influences, making it important for student ministry to guide and support them in their faith. I will be working with female students from Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), helping to disciple and guide them through their needs. Under the supervision of two directors, I will walk alongside them both on campus, and outside campus. I will also work hand in hand with my church, Holy Trinity Gardens, to support and care for these students in a simple and practical way.

Vision

My vision for working in student ministry comes from my own journey. Growing up, I struggled with doubt and had many unspoken questions, but I did not have Christian mentors to guide me. This has given me a heart to support young people who may be going through the same challenges. I feel called to walk alongside female students, helping them grow in faith and confidence. What excites me is the chance to be the “big sister” I never had, guiding and encouraging future leaders in a simple, caring, and practical way.

My aim is to make Christ known and help young people understand their identity in Him. The visa process has been challenging, with changing embassy requirements, and the outcome is still uncertain. However, wherever the Lord leads me, I am committed to making disciples and sharing Christ faithfully.

About Me

I am passionate about my faith and deeply love Jesus. I have seen Him work in my life in many ways, even during times of uncertainty. I am a farmer at heart, with a strong love for animals and growing crops. I also enjoy music, I can sing, and I am continually seeking to grow in my music ministry. I love nature and find joy in its beauty.

Academically, I studied General Agriculture and obtained a certificate. I later pursued Theology at Proclamation Institute Zambia, where I earned a diploma. From 2022 to 2025, I furthered my studies at George Whitefield College in Cape Town, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.
