Mentoring and equipping university students in Austria to become lifelong followers of Jesus.
Austria has a rich Christian history, yet many university students have little meaningful engagement with the gospel during some of the most formative years of their lives. University is a key season when young adults are shaping their beliefs, values and future direction.
Across Austria’s universities, thousands of students are searching for purpose, identity, and community. Many have never had the opportunity to seriously explore the claims of Jesus or see Christian faith lived out authentically among their peers. ÖSM (Christians at University) seeks to reach students where they are, helping them encounter Christ, grow in faith, and confidently share the gospel. By investing in students today, we hope to see graduates who will influence their churches, workplaces, and communities for Christ throughout their lives.
Calling
I am passionate about seeing young adults develop a deep and lasting faith in Jesus during their university years. These years are often decisive in shaping a person’s worldview and future direction. Through this internship with ÖSM, I have the opportunity to support and disciple students as they grow in their relationship with Christ and learn to live out their faith in everyday life. I am excited to learn more about Christian ministry while helping students become lifelong followers of Jesus.
My aim is to encourage students in their faith, support student leaders, and help create opportunities for meaningful discipleship and gospel outreach on university campuses throughout Austria.
About me
My own faith has been deeply shaped by people who invested their time in encouraging, discipling, and walking alongside me. Through this internship with ÖSM – Christians at University in Austria, I have the opportunity to do the same for university students. I will be mentoring students, supporting student leaders, helping prepare training events and conferences, and serving in ministry projects across Austria and within the wider IFES Europe network. I am particularly excited to help students grow in their relationship with Jesus during such an influential stage of life, while also developing my own faith, theological understanding, and experience in Christian ministry.
