S and P

We’re supporting families involved in gospel work across Asia and beyond.

Local and overseas kingdom workers can often find schooling options to be lacking in the challenging places they serve.

The Need

Many families serving in cross-cultural ministry report that challenges with their children’s education are a significant factor in their decision to leave the mission field and return home. Providing quality education in a caring, supportive and safe environment enables parents to remain in the places God has called them, continuing to make Jesus known in areas where there is little or no access to the gospel.

The Ministry

After 11 years involved in church planting and disciple-making in a spiritually and physically challenging part of Asia, S and P saw first-hand the need for quality education within the mission community across Asia and beyond.

They are now serving at an international school, providing education and pastoral care for children from Christian ministry families. Their role involves much more than teaching: they have opportunities to point students to Jesus, encourage them in their faith and inspire the next generation of gospel workers.

They also have opportunities to share the good news with students who do not yet know Christ and to encourage local believers through their relationships within the school community.

The Vision

Before moving to Asia, S and P had both served overseas on short-term trips and were struck by the many places across Asia with little or no access to the gospel. After marrying, they became involved in churches serving in multicultural settings, where their desire to reach the unreached continued to grow.

This led them to move to Asia in 2015 to serve in disciple-making ministry. Their passion for seeing the gospel reach unreached people continues to shape their ministry today.

Through their work at the school, they hope to educate, support and care for children while enabling their parents to continue serving in gospel ministry across the wider region.
