Overseeing the daily business and operational function of Christ Church Loresho
“Administration may not be glamorous, but it is essential to a healthy, fruitful and fully functioning church. Any organization left to itself, including the church, will deteriorate in its functionality.”
Christ Church Loresho is currently in need of a functional administrative system to support the work of the gospel. This presents a valuable opportunity for me to assist the pastoral team by assuming certain administrative responsibilities, thereby enabling them to devote more time to pastoral ministry.
Vision
“So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, “It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:2-4
An effective and well-functioning administrative system is essential to the life of the church, just as the ministry of the Word and prayer is. Christ Church Loresho is committed to proclaiming Christ in every area of life and to all the world. Therefore, a strong administrative structure is necessary to support this mission by freeing the pastoral team to devote themselves fully to the ministry of the Word and prayer.
I am deeply committed to being a faithful witness of Christ, not limited to using my administrative gifts to support the ministry of the Word. I value well-ordered church structures that enable the clear and effective proclamation of Christ.
About me
I am currently serving at St Andrew the Great Church in Cambridge, where I am involved in international ministry, children’s ministry, and practical service. This season has been a great privilege, allowing me to serve people from diverse backgrounds while growing in my ability to care for and disciple others in Christ.
Alongside this, I travel to London every Wednesday to attend the Cornhill Training Course. This training has been instrumental in equipping me to be a more faithful witness of Christ. It has deepened my understanding of God’s word and given me greater confidence and ability to teach the Bible clearly and faithfully.
Looking ahead, in January 2027, I will be serving at Christ Church Loresho as an Assistant Administrator. In this role, I hope to support the life and ministry of the church while continuing to grow in teaching, discipleship, and leadership
