Sharing the Gospel and discipling women in France

France is a country that has always been dear to me right from my first trip there when I was 4-years-old, and made my first attempts at speaking French. Since my university days, my eyes have been opened to the need for greater gospel work in France and the possibility of serving God there has never been far from my thoughts.

Having served alongside students and a local suburban church in the Paris region, I now live in central Paris where I am the women’s deacon at Église Connexion.

This church was planted in 2014 and today has over 100 members and another 50-100 regular attendees, the majority of whom are aged between 20 and 35.

With such a young congregation there are many opportunities for discipleship, but also for training those who will be future disciple-makers.

In addition, I am engaged in a number of initiatives which seek to encourage women and train them in women’s ministry in France and beyond.

I have a wonderful opportunity to help women to fix their eyes on Jesus

I am also involved in the national evangelical scene in France, as a member of the Representative Committee of the CNEF (French National Council of Evangelicals).

Pray For Paris, For Lagny, For France

On the night of 13 November 2015, as all our screens filled with the terrors of the attacks on the Bataclan, Paris restaurant terraces and the area around the Stade de France, our social media screens began to fill with one phrase: “Pray for Paris.”
