Bespoke support through Biblical strategy
My prayer is that local churches are encouraged and equipped so that more people hear, see and experience the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ and are saved.
I was born in South India to Christian parents and moved to Wales, UK in the early 80s. I began training to be a doctor at university in the 90’s and even studied engineering! However, God had other plans and after several years of working in logistics, I was converted in 2003 at Exeter, Southwest England. My wife Siân is a doctor and together with our boys Elijah, Zephan and Jedd (twins) we live in Crickhowell, South Wales.
Since becoming a Christian ‘all’ the collective providences whether it’s my business degree, postgrad studies at seminary, and nearly 10 years as a church evangelist in Wales, have helped as I seek to serve churches and Christians. My prayer in both the UK and worldwide is to see local churches grow through biblical strategy and bespoke support so that more people know Jesus.
Since 2018 I have been serving under the umbrella of Associating Evangelical Churches of Wales (AECW). I regularly meet with pastors and churches throughout Wales, both within AECW and more widely, to understand the challenges of sharing the gospel. In a country that experienced the 1904 Revival we continue to seek a powerful work of the Holy Spirit working in us and through us so that churches thrive rather than reach the stage of being decommissioned and having their resources repurposed. Despite challenges there continue to be stories of blessings and conversions in Wales showing that God is still powerfully at work today.
In 2023 I joined UFM Worldwide to have the expertise of another family and team, to support me as Indian fellowships invite me to preach and to engage with the Indian diaspora in parts of the UK, USA and Asia. God willing, I hope not only to support and encourage Christians and churches in the Indian diaspora, but also to learn from them in a way that will be a mutual benefit to ministry in Wales.
My particular approach is to build relationships, to listen, to learn, and try to identify underlying structural factors that may be preventing churches from growing. Solutions range from calling leaders, training in evangelism, troubleshooting ministries, rediscovering hospitality & good works, pastoral care, creating new roles as well as raising necessary finance. It’s not an exact science because it’s spiritual work. There are failures, but my confidence is in the God who uses ‘all’ things (Rom 8:28) – even all my past!
In living by faith, I thank God for my network of supporters. Please pray that God will provide more individual and church mission partners both in prayer and financially. I’d also be happy to come to you and share about this ministry and help where I can. Financial support sent through UFM Worldwide can be directed either through the UK office or USA office with tax deductible receipts.
I am an Evangelist with AECW and an Associate Mission Partner with UFM Worldwide
My sending church is Bethel Baptist, Bassaleg, Wales, UK
