ITALY Huw & Alison Williams"Huw is off to Poland to co-lead the "Bible Teachers Network" at the European Leadership Forum (24th-30th May). Pray for wisdom, energy and grace as he teaches and that those who attend would find it beneficial."

BRAZIL Bron Hewett"A Pentecostal group has entered some of the villages of the Evangelical Guajajara Church, offering a motorbike and a salary if the Indians will change allegiance and allow them to put a plaque on the front of the church with their own name on it.  They then appoint a new Christian as leader and leave, promising to return in a year's time. Please pray for the Guajajara Christians to reject this temptation and to stand firm in the Lord."

PAPUA NEW GUINEA Rosie Crowter"Please pray for a talk at Kiunga High School to 200 girls grade 9-12 on 'Unwanted pregnancy and abortion' - an increasing problem in our schools. Pray for wisdom in planning the best way to take this significant opportunity which we hope to extend to the boys."

PAPUA Sue Trenier"Mr Lukas Enembe, the first ever Governor in Papua who comes from the central highlands was inaugurated for a 5 year term. He is a member of the GIDI Church and during the ceremony he and his next in line also Papuan, were presented with Bibles. The Hupla Bible is being printed now."

FRANCE Debs Prisk"In April, Lagny church held 3 evangelistic dinners on the theme of "The Gospel, Made in France", looking at how the gospel relates to issues dear to the French. Please pray for those who attended who aren't believers, that they will keep on thinking about who Jesus is and would want to find out more."

PERU David & Bertha Barnes"We received a request from an international missionary organisation to set up a full-time Bible institute in Lima to train their Peruvian and Brazilian missionaries. Please pray for us as we commence classes on 7th May, and especially for David Silva our teacher from Iquitos who is now working full-time as vice-principal and has the heaviest teaching load."

Later, I hope to prepare another booklet about the differences between the teachings of Islam and the Christian gospel to help people share their faith and also help seekers find freedom in Christ."
