Pray for the new students at the Bible Institute and Theological Seminary of Spain (IBSTE) to settle in well to their studies which begin on 21 September. Pray that those who come from other locations would find a good local church where they can both receive and serve. Pray too for Miriam as she begins her studies in biology at the University of Bath.

I am thankful for a good end of term for the youth group; some non-Christians came along to the last session, so please pray that God would work in their hearts and they would come back in September. Pray for fruit from the Interaction summer camp that was held in France, and that I would be ready to go back to ministry in September for the five 1:1 Bible studies I am running.

Please pray that the Lord would urgently provide us with a new house within the city centre of Bordeaux that would be ideal for our family and ministry needs, and that he would sustain us through another transition. We have to move out of our current house by the middle of November.

Pray for Alice as she heads back into ministry, for guidance as she steps into a new role of being head of new staff in training for Gruppi Biblici Universitari nationally, and for wisdom as they look at childcare options for their daughter.

The Jesus Storybook Bible in Greek is in the final stages of production; please pray for the process and launch in time for Christmas sales. Most importantly, as people read these Jesus-focused truths, pray that the gospel will bear fruit in their lives. Please also pray as we try and meet new Christian students for the September start: numbers are down in all churches which is concerning.

I restart language classes in mid-September. Please pray that I can get to know new people in my class and make good progress in language learning over the next few months. We should fly out to South Asia around 15 September for three pastors conferences. We continue on to four countries in South East Asia for training of tribal pastors and leaders over the following few weeks. Please pray for safety and strength in all the travels, and for God's Spirit to make the word come alive and burn in the hearts of our dear brothers.

September begins in Slovakia for dental treatment, followed by some time in Ethiopia where we will continue helping the church there to choose, train, send and care well for their mission partners. There is also a possible mobilisation opportunity in Sudan - please pray for open doors.  From 7-8 November we’ll be part of a prayer initiative for an unreached people group in the Sahara. We’re praying for a breakthrough!

Each year we have a team from Hong Kong who come to help the Foyer Evangelique Universitaire; please pray for their safe travel and that we reach many students in our welcome week from 9-19 Sept, which includes a garage sale and special evening events including a Christian rapper! We need more FEU team leaders; pray that God provides and that we gel together well.

We are thankful for a recent visit from my sister and her children, my first family visitors since I moved out in 2009. Please pray for wisdom and provision for Noella's UK adoption. Pray also for healing for my friend Grace who has breast cancer, and that our children, parents and staff would all be able to connect with healthy local churches and know Jesus as their Saviour.

In September, our son Pedro will move to Pontypridd to begin a Master's degree after graduating with an LLB in Law and Politics from Cardiff University. Please pray for him. Please also pray for our October Theological Conference, the completion of Rana church's kitchen, EPW's ministry and the team who serve in Mozambique.

Please pray for the 24-hour leadership team meeting taking place 7-8 September to kick off the new academic year. Please pray for wisdom and humility as we look to the Lord for the year ahead. Pray too for James, our new Operations Director and Jen, Comms & Content Coordinator, as they settle into their new roles on the team.

Please pray for Daniel's preparation and teaching of a 12-week course on the recent history of Christianity in Latin America. It will be demanding as there is little literature on the subject.
