We look back with thankfulness to God for providing for the Bible Institute so far. We are presently fundraising for the print shop and 'on-demand' printer. Please join us in praying that at the right time God will provide the staff, with the necessary skills, to develop our book printing ministry.

Please pray for energy and enthusiasm for Heather, Nathanael and myself to get through the rest of the school year. Give thanks that my English pupils' attendance has improved. Pray for interest and enthusiasm in learning, and for wisdom, as Julio and I think about our options for Heather and Nathanael‘s education for the next school year.

Pray for a smooth transition back to Kenya and intentionality to: get to know people who have recently joined Christ Church Loresho, be patient with myself as I adjust again to the culture and way of doing things, and for me to serve with love and faithfulness. Pray that Patriza and I will prepare well for our upcoming marriage in December.

Please pray for the FEUER (Fellowship of Evangelists in the Universities of Europe) annual conference this week (30 October-3 November). It is an IFES* network that trains and equips university mission speakers in Europe. I am on the planning team so pray for the preparations and that it will inspire much gospel proclamation!

Gavin & Elaine Charlton, South Africa

Praise God for the summer team who came to lead Bible clubs. We had about 200 children per day at the two clubs, four days each. The children heard stories and learnt verses on the theme, 'Jesus, the Light of the World'. Pray that the seed will develop into lives changed by God's power. Pray too that we may soon be able to accept children again into the children’s home.

Pray for the new intake of students in the midst of their first semester. May they make the most of this training opportunity to grow in the skills and spiritual maturity that they will need to persevere on the field. May the staff teach and disciple with humility and conviction and may we, who work slightly more behind the scenes, do all that we need to with joy unto the Lord.

Thank God for opportunities to proclaim the gospel, especially in the Kibagare slums. Pray for Peter discipling young people and getting involved in pastoral duties, and for Promise helping to disciple and also leading young ladies’ Bible studies. Please pray as we expect our firstborn 'Baby P’ in late October/early November. Finally, pray as we plan on church planting in Mwingi town in the near future.

Pray for a job for Christian as a junior electrician that is flexible, allowing Sundays off, time for study and time with family. Pray for Alice as she takes six months’ compassionate leave until February 2026, and for provision during this time. Pray for wisdom for the restructuring of Cyprus CSF* into two branches, focusing on Greek-speaking and Turkish-speaking students. Pray for more workers, particularly Greek and Turkish speakers.

October and November are usually months with new opportunities to mentor in Eastern and Central Europe through the European Leadership Forum scheme. It is also a time of planning and preparing for some overseas visits next year to Albania, Poland and possibly South Asia. Please pray for wisdom and discernment with these opportunities.

Please pray for the management of the ACTS Nigeria bookshop facing serious challenges with staff and difficult circumstances. As I plan to take a trip to Nigeria towards the end of November, please pray for the granting of visas, arranging of flights and internal transport, and that it will be a profitable and safe couple of weeks.

Praise the Lord for every open door. Andrew, Leonardo and Elias fly for the first time to São Tomé (22 October) to train pastors with EPW*. We trust God for a fruitful time. We thank God for our home church, Tabor, and God’s grace in strengthening the church. Pray for Jenny’s weekly ladies’ Bible study and her school's work and toddler outreach.

Give thanks for the holiday club, the gospel was proclaimed and families want more! Pray for follow-up, and a regular evangelistic evening for young people. Pray for new people to join us, and that newcomers will become partners through our October Welcome Weekend. Pray for funds and provision of a larger Sunday meeting venue where it’s easier to welcome children.

Please pray for outreach events planned for the nearby town of Swinford: a monthly market stall; traditional music concert; mental health evening and an evening for individuals and families affected by same sex attraction.

Shaun & Anne Abrahams, Ireland

Pray for Anne's opportunities for the gospel. She has been vetted for special needs support for local schools and for teaching 'Prayer Spaces'. Shaun has started a men’s Bible programme at church. Pray for the Lord to raise up a future pastor. The church is growing and we are considering finding larger premises of our own. Tipperary is a town with social problems. Pray for wisdom to take the right opportunities for the gospel.

Our girls started 4th and 2nd grade in September. Please pray they do well this year, they have some exams at the end. Pray they adjust well to the school routine. In October the mission school should start. Pray for students and for wisdom in how to serve this year.
