Please pray for settling back into Greek life, routines, church and people after returning from the UK in September. Pray for the next steps in language learning, for maintaining energy and intentionality with patience. Do pray for a number of deputation opportunities, including our three Autumn Celebration meetings during November at which Johnny McClean will be taking part.
8th October
Rebecca Jones, Uganda
Praise God we finally made it to the UK over the summer! The eight years of paperwork and delays were hard and frustrating at times, but we know God's timing is perfect and we've learnt to lean into God more and rest in his faithfulness. We returned to Uganda in mid-September. Pray that we would settle back well and for wisdom as we make (tentative!) plans about future UK trips.
7th October

Please continue to pray for the Arte Vida outreach project. Pray for the children's day event happening on 11 October. In November, we will be planning a mini camp for the kids at church. Ask the Lord for new connections so that more churches can be planted and more people hear the gospel. Pray for the conference in Korea in October - that we will be well prepared and enjoy fellowship and encouragement from meeting with our ministry partners. Rachel will also have some medical check-ups. Pray too for the new school year for our three children. The oldest starts his GCSE year and our daughter begins at comprehensive school.

Our Pipeline Bible Club restarted at the end of September. 100-180 children usually attend each week, split over two days for boys and girls. Pray for the children to have open minds and hearts to receive God's word and grow in their understanding of faith. Pray for the ministry to overflow into the children’s homes, impacting their families and the wider community.
5th October

We would deeply appreciate your prayers that God would provide the prayer and financial support needed for us to be fully funded. We have several speaking engagements, Bible study visits, and conferences between September and November. Pray that we may give a faithful record of all God is doing in our ministry and that we may be an encouragement to all who hear.

Steve has 'rammed earth' building workshops, teaching /preaching in a local church and working alongside farmers in an agricultural programme. Pray we settle quickly and make new friends.

Despite some big challenges with relationships, God is faithful and has answered so many of my prayers! Thank you for praying. 27th September
Stephen & Linda Park, Uganda
With increasing costs, a desire for improved patient care (which often costs more) and reducing donations, there is increased pressure on mission hospitals like Kiwoko Hospital to generate more income. Pray that the mission does not get lost in the midst of this, but rather that God is glorified through everything and that the hospital remains a light in the surrounding community and further afield.
